Geo Scientist and Geologist Examination by UPSC (Last Date: 31.03.2014)

The Union Public Service Commission will hold the combined Geo-Scientist & Geologist Examination from 24.05.2014 for recruitment to various departments of Government of India.

Opening Date for Online Registration: 01.03.2014

Last Date for Online Registration: 31.03.2014

Details of Vacancies:

1. Geologist Group A: Posts- 100 in Geological Survey of India, Age- 21-32 yrs.
2. Geophysicist Group B: Posts- 80 in Geological Survey of India, Age- 21-32 yrs.
3. Chemist Group A: Posts- 80 in Geological Survey of India, Age- 21-32 yrs.
4. Jr. Hydrogeologists (Scientist B) Group A: Posts- 05 in Central Ground Water Board, Age- 21-35 yrs.

*Age will be calculated as on 01.08.2014

Application Fee: SC/ST/PH & Female candidates are exempted from fees & for all others Rs 200/- either by depositing cash in any Branch of SBI or by using net Banking facility of SBI Group or by using debit card.
