UPSC has issued a total of 60 vacancies for Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) examination 2012. A combined competitive examination for recruitment to Grade IV of the Services mentioned above will be held by the Union Public Service Commission commencing from 1st December 2012

Indian Economic Service: 31 posts, Scale-IV, Age-21-30 years*.
Indian Statistical Service: 29 posts, Scale-IV, Age-21-30 years*.
Law Officer: 15 posts, Scale-II,Pay Scale-Rs. 14,500-25,700, Age-21-40 years*.
Rajbhasha Adhikari: 10 posts, Scale-I, Pay Scale-19,400-28,100,Age-20-35 years*
* Age as on 01.08.2012
Application Fees: No fees for for SC/ST/VI/HI/OC(intimation charges only) & Rs. 100/- for Others.
